Avantra recently became available in the Google Cloud Marketplace. It is worth mentioning here that we have fully containerized the deployment of Avantra here, so each component runs in a separate container. For the database, we use Cloud SQL.
If a company chooses to tackle the area of e-learning itself and also to create the content for it itself, there is a certain challenge. The most obvious point here is that the above-mentioned initial effort is borne by the company. This means that employees spend their time creating videos, preparing presentations and/or creating questionnaires. This not to be underestimated effort must of course be borne by the company initially. On the other hand, a self-created e-learning offer offers the possibility to design it completely by itself and tailor it to the company's own needs. In addition, a company can decide whether it will use the e-learning offer itself only for its own employees (for internal training purposes) or whether it will also present the offer externally. This can be used, for example, for advertising purposes, as a know-how presentation or as a further source of income. Use the external sources: This is a very pleasant way for the company to improve the internal processes through ELearning. By acquiring external e-learning content, the company can purchase valuable know-how for comparatively low money. This know-how is in most cases already well prepared, that this can only be passed on to the employees and they can then independently acquire new knowledge or consolidate already known topics.

With the growth of the company also came extensions and the need for a whole SAP Basis team. Basically, it is a condition that occurs sooner or later in any organization that maintains SAP systems.
Following the recommendation of dividing the SAP basis into an application-orientated and infrastructure-related SAP basis [A4], Figure 3 shows a possible presentation form. The SAP-Basis interface function is structured into a SAP basis, which is close to the application and is responsible for coordination and communication with vertical and higher IT specialist and business areas, and a SAP basis close to the infrastructure. The infrastructure-related SAP basis in turn serves as the link between the application-orientated SAP basis and the infrastructure levels. Subject Matter Experts will perform the link task again. In the application-orientated SAP basis, in turn, technology architects are more likely to be placed. The innovation activity or innovation team aspect of the SAP basis is placed at the level of the SAP basis, which is close to the application, because the existing capabilities allow it to assume a leading, also coordinating role and acquire expertise both by adding the SAP basis near the infrastructure and the downstream IT departments.
