SAP Basis is structured as a classic three-tier model. It contains the following components:
There is an RFC error. CANNOT_ADD_PATCH_TO_BUFFER: A support package could not be included in the transport buffer. For more information, see the log file in the /usr/sap/trans/log (UNIX) directory. CANNOT_MODIFY_BUFFER: An attempt was made to modify the transport buffer without success. TEST_IMPORT This step checks whether there are still objects in unshared tasks that are overwritten during the commit. The log of the test import shows the cause of the error. In addition to the database, the SAP system itself is installed. This installation is planned using a tool from SAP, the "Maintenance Planner", and then carried out using the SWPM (Software Provisioning Manager) and SUM (Software Update Manager) tools.
Support Packages from SAPNet - Web Frontend or Collection CDs are available in a compressed format. Note that you must unpack the support packages before processing. Download the support packages from the SAPNet - Web Frontend or mount the appropriate CD. You will see a list of uploaded support packages that are now known with all their attributes in the SAP system and can be handled in the right way by the SAP Patch Manager. Select Back to return to the SPAM entry screen.
"Shortcut for SAP Systems" simplifies tasks in the area of the SAP basis and complements missing functions of the standard.
A simple example of such rules is the use of the SAP_ALL profile.
