SAP basis INTEGRATION AS CROSS-SECTION FUNCTION INTO THE CONSTRUCTION ORGANISATION
SAP Basis is structured as a classic three-tier model. It contains the following components: Database layer (relational database management system) / Application layer (application server and message server) / Presentation layer (graphical user interface).
When I began my career administering SAP ERP on Oracle in the early 1990s, running a database required far more knowledge. An Oracle administration expert with a decade of experience understood perhaps only about 5% of what the database required.

SAP Basis administration is distinct from other roles such as ABAP developers and consultants who handle architecture. In many companies, the boundaries between administration and development are blurred. Admins may therefore also be involved in the planning and development of the system.
In order to cope with the digital transformation in general, but also to cope with the changing demands on the SAP basis and its scope of responsibility, it is necessary to revise existing roles and define and establish new roles. These include the roles of the technology architect, new features of the Subject Matter Expert (SME), and the role of the Expert Team Lead in leading a group of experts. "Shortcut for SAP Systems" is a PC application that simplifies or even facilitates many activities in the SAP base.
In more complex environments, data backup durations, time buffers and job runtimes add up to such an extent that the time available is no longer sufficient to perform all activities within the available time corridor.
So you can easily and quickly group your transactions in different folders.
