Consolidate user-level role mapping
Authorization concepts in SAP systems
Each roll can be written to any number of transport orders. Information about existing records of the same role by other administrators does not take place.

They have encountered a role that includes manually maintained organisational levels. Even if you correct the error manually in the role by manually deleting the manually maintained value of the organisation levels in the authorization object, the value in question is not drawn from the organisation level. The AGR_RESET_ORG_LEVELS report allows you to reset these values for the role. The manually maintained organisational data will be deleted, and only the values that have been maintained via the Origen button will be drawn.

The Enable Transport Recording button allows you to save the changes in the roles on a transport order. For information on the validity of the PFCG_ORGFIELD_ROLES report, see SAP Note 1624104.

You can also evaluate the application log through the SLG1 (ATAX object) transaction; the output of the report CA_TAXLOG seems more useful here. Finally, we have some important information for you: There are individual programmes that can be used read-only, but also offer options for updates to the database. In these cases, additional logic was implemented (e.g. in SAP Note 925217 to the RFUMSV00 programme for the sales tax pre-reporting). Action log data can be accessed via the transaction SLG2 (Object: ATAX) (see also SAP Note 530733). If you want to customise for the annual permissions directly in the production system (so-called "current setting"), the SAP Note 782707 describes how to do this. Basic information about Current Settings is provided in SAP Notes 135028 and 356483. SAP Note 788313 describes in detail the functional components of the time-space test and the additional logging and also serves as a "cookbook" to use in customer-specific developments. How you can prevent access to the SAP menu and only show the user menu to the user, we described in Tip 47, "Customising User and Permissions Management".

The possibility of assigning authorizations during the go-live can be additionally secured by using "Shortcut for SAP systems".

You are aware that certain authorization objects have now been modified and others have even been completely removed, but can't all changes at the value level be replicated? Thanks to new features, this uncertainty is now over.

You can enable this parameter by using the transaction RZ11 (Profile Parameter Maintenance) by entering the value Y as a new value and selecting the Switch to All Servers setting.
