Grant permissions for SAP background processing
Default permissions already included
Do this once in your system. For example, you can jump from the MM50 transaction to the MM01 transaction without explicitly assigning transaction startup permission to the MM01 transaction through the S_TCODE authorization object. You can see this call in your System Trace for Permissions in the Additional Information column for testing. There you can see that the CALL TRANSACTION call has disabled the permission check. The user is allowed to jump into the transaction MM01, although in the role assigned to him Z_MATERIALSTAMMDATEN only permissions for the transactions MM03 and MM50 are recorded.

We recommend you to transport all these changes. Basically, you should always make changes to organisation levels on your development system and then transport them. If you use multiple clients, you should note that the organisation levels and the proposed permissions are client-independent data, whereas the roles and profiles in question are client-dependent. If you are using more than one client, you must also run the PFCG_ORGFIELD_ROLES report in the other mandates to determine the roles that the new organisation level will contain. With the help of this report, you must then rearrange all the roles listed in the Status column: Orgebene in Role are indicated in red. You can select these roles and then use the Reduce in Roles button to adjust them to the new organisation level.
SAP Authorizations - Overview HCM Authorization Concepts
The RESPAREA field has a maintenance dialogue that allows you to enter areas of responsibility. The care dialogue is called as a building block and provides different tabs for input depending on the authorization object. Now, if you declare the RESPAREA field to be the organisation level, you must first set the display of the tabs for input in customising. To do this, you must add an entry to the KBEROBJ table that is independent of the client by using the SE16 transaction. In this entry, leave the first OBJECT field blank. The CURRENTOBJ field must be maintained because it defines the tab that will be displayed when the maintenance is called, i.e. the Default tab. If this field is blank, no startup image can be found and errors occur. The following fields determine the contents of the various tabs and should therefore also be maintained so that you can use RESPAREA as an organisational level. These are the OBJECT1 to OBJECT7 fields for the first to the seventh tab. In these seven fields, you define what values you can enter on the tabs.

Now maintain the permissions and organisation levels. If possible, use organisational level values in the note, which you can find well in other numbers later on, i.e. about 9999 or 1234. After generating and saving the role, you will be returned to eCATT. There you will be asked if you want to accept the data and confirm with Yes. You have now successfully recorded the blueprint. Now the slightly trickier part follows: The identification of the values to be changed at mass execution. In the editor of your test configuration, the record you created is located at the bottom of the text box. We can now execute the test script en masse with any input. We need a test configuration for this. In the example Z_ROLLOUT_STAMMDATEN, enter a corresponding name and click the Create Object button. On the Attribute tab, specify a general description and component. On the Configuration tab, select the test script you created earlier in the corresponding field. Then click the Variants tab. The variants are the input in our script. Since we do not know the format in which eCATT needs the input values, it is helpful to download it first. To do this, select External Variants/Path and click Download Variants. A text file is now created under the appropriate path, containing the desired format with the input parameters. Open the data with Microsoft Excel and set your target value list. To do so, delete the line *ECATTDEFAULT. In the VARIANT column, you can simply use a sequential numbering. Save the file in text format, not in any Excel format.

However, if your Identity Management system is currently not available or the approval path is interrupted, you can still assign urgently needed authorizations with "Shortcut for SAP systems".

Often, those responsible in the company do not want to make a correction because it causes costs and work.
