Use system recommendations to introduce security
Mitigating GRC risks for SAP systems
In addition to these requirements, other settings can ensure that the transaction can be performed without verification: Verification of eligibility objects is disabled by check marks (in transaction SU24). This is not possible for SAP NetWeaver and SAP ERP HCM authorization objects, i.e. it does not apply to S_TCODE checking. The checks for specific authorization objects can be globally off for all transactions (in transaction SU24 or SU25). This is only possible if the profile parameter AUTH/NO_CHECK_IN_SOME_CASES is Y. In addition, executable transactions may also result from the assignment of a reference user; the reference user's executable transactions are also taken into account.

After successful implementation of your permission check, the new authorization object for your application must be maintained in transaction SU24. If your solution is distributed in other system landscapes, the authorisation proposals in the transaction SU22 are maintained. In addition, with the permission proposal value maintenance, you can make sure that the new authorization object is not forgotten in a role system, because it is now loaded automatically into the PFCG role when the application is called up via the role menu. In the final step, the permission administrator can create the PFCG role or must remix the existing PFCG roles.
Analyzing the quality of the authorization concept - Part 1
Are you already using BAPIs in user care? For example, you can use them to set up a password reset self service. We show you how to do this and what you need to pay attention to. Especially with large system landscapes and systems that are only sporadically used, users often forget their password. Strengthened password rules (e.g. to change a password regularly or to require certain character types to be used), which are supposed to serve security, do their part. Forgotten passwords and the frequently resulting user locks are unfortunately often lost to the user when access to a system is most needed. Unlocking a user and assigning a new password is rarely done in real time, even with large 24-hour support service departments. This problem, which I am sure you are familiar with, does not exactly promote employee satisfaction and productivity. A self-service that uses the Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPIs) can counteract this.

Transaction SE63 allows you to translate a variety of text in the SAP system. You can find the texts relevant to the permission roles by going to the Translation > ABAP Objects > Short Texts menu. In the Object Type Selection pop-up window that appears, select the S3 ABAP Texts node and select the ACGR Roles sub-point. You can now select the role in the following screen. You must note that the system expects the client to be prefixed, and the next step allows you to maintain the chunk in the target language. The variable AGR_TEXTS 00002 corresponds to the description of the role and the variable AGR_HIERT_TEXT 00001 corresponds to the description of the transactions contained therein. After you have saved the entry, the description of the role is also maintained in the target language, in our example in the English language and visible after the login. Select the source language correctly in the field.

Authorizations can also be assigned via "Shortcut for SAP systems".

This cannot be reflected with the default authorization objects.

Of course, topics such as updating internal and third-party tools, integrating cloud solutions, modern hybrid infrastructures, defining and operating ongoing dynamic changes, etc.
